Having only one planet is a reality that we must all deal with, whether we live in the United States, the largest consumer of energy per person on the planet or in a developing nation we all share the same atmosphere, oceans and earth. As a group we need to seeking an answer to the age old problem, "How do we power the planet, without killing it?".

A thinking person, if asked what are the greatest challenges facing the planet would come up with a list of very important issues (in no particular order).

1. Terrorism
2. Nationalism
3. Religion
4. War
5. Poverty
6. Starvation
7. Drinking
8. Water
9. Pollution
