World Energy was first established as a print publication in 1998 as a vehicle to showcase articles written by presidents, CEOs, energy stakeholders, and politicians. The publication featured articles about business trends, industry break throughs, financial tactics, and related subjects all centered on the theme of energy as the industrial oxygen that moves our economy.

In addition to the print publication a robust web presence was developed and World Energy television was created to showcase video interviews and round table discussions about the issues of the day. Later the Reality Check series was added featuring commentary about energy, finance and politics.

Today the discussion continues as we search for the energy winners among a plethora of energy opportunities seeking the best way to power the planet as we all move forward into the 21st century.

About Richard Loomis

A seasoned media professional with experience in print, web, video and television, spanning the last 25 years, He has held management roles in sales, operations, web development and video production. Mr. Loomis has started 5 publications, two television series, developed a number of websites, handled the PR, advertising and public outreach for both pubic and private companies, interviewed over 500 CEOs and written countless articles on Energy and the politics of energy.
