With her colorful family, outdoorsy background and
take-no-prisoners attitude, Gov. Sarah Palin has put Wasilla, Alaska, on the map – and, you may argue, even assumed some of the “celebrity” mantle used by Republican presidential candidate John McCain to castigate Democratic candidate Barack Obama not so long ago. At press time the Alaskan governor’s momentum showed no sign of slowing down.
